Through thoughtful planning, we’ll create a timeline, which includes the most meaningful people and details to capture so everything feels seamless and true to you. When your wedding day arrives, you can be fully present with the people you love, knowing every moment is being carefully documented. I'll send over a contract and a $450 deposit invoice. Once that’s complete, your day is officially reserved, and we can start planning all the love and details we’ll capture together.

Can you tell me more about CJP?
1. Your wedding day should be joyful and relaxed. While documenting important moments during your ceremony and first look, we strive to remain invisible but create a fun and relaxed environment when directing groups and poses. We create a itinerary for the day so everyone is organized and knows what to expect.
2. Christina Johnson Photography will be here tomorrow, too. We have been in business for over 20 years because we treat clients with honesty, respect, and fairness. It matters.
3. We strive to be innovative and current while still producing images that stand the test of time. We choose fresh, vibrant, true-to-life images above what’s popular this season. We don’t believe in coloration or pre-sets. Trends are just that…and we don’t want to be the shoulder pads of wedding photography (cool until they just…aren’t).
4. When you hire Christina Johnson Photography, you are gaining access to years and years of experience. There isn’t a single thing that we haven’t seen, experienced, or been through. Do you offer help with planning?
Christina Johnson Photography is a FULL-SERVICE studio assisting in your every need.
Every wedding experience includes a detailed checklist to get to the heart and soul of your wedding day dreams, a customized shot list, and a wedding day timeline.
We can assist you with building your perfect wedding album, choosing your favorite images to enlarge, or printing fabulous products. You’ll receive beautiful and unique images, but you’ll also have a magnificent experience.
Whatever you need, just ask. We are here to help.
Will my images be edited?
All images will be edited for color, clarity, and contrast. We strive for natural, true-to-life color with light-creamy skin tones.
Soft skin enhancement can be added to ALL images for a small fee of $125. This service reduces the visibility of imperfections, fine lines, and blemishes, resulting in a more polished and visually appealing complexion. This process offers a very subtle and natural up-level to the skin. Additional editing is available upon request.
What is your turnaround time?
We publish an online gallery of previews of all your images within one to two weeks of your wedding date. Your completed gallery will be ready within one month. The optional add-on Highlights Reel is delivered within 48 hours!
You'll be able to download all of your high resolution images right from the gallery with the click of a button. If you, or family/friends, wish to order professional prints and products from us, this option is also available right from your gallery.
Plus, you can easily share your gallery to social media right from the site. Our clients love the ease and simplicity.
Do I need a Second Photographer?
Hiring a second photographer provides two creatively unique perspectives from your wedding. You'll receive more moments, memories, and details.
During the first look, one photographer can focus on the groom’s reaction, and the other can photograph the bride. During the ceremony, one can photograph an epic wider shot from the back of the church, while the other photographs more intimate, emotional images from the front.
A second photographer is especially valuable with large wedding parties or large families. Having two photographers can help speed up formal portraits, allowing you to get to your reception sooner.
During the reception, one photographer can be out on the dance floor, and another can whisk the couple away for sunset portraits or grab fun candids of all the college friends hanging out by the fire pit.

Capture the joy, emotion, and magic of your wedding day in a short, cinematic-style video crafted entirely from your most meaningful photographs. This highlight reel is designed for easy sharing with friends and family or on social media. We capture a professional image of every guest and instruct them to write a personalized message in your guestbook.
You’ll receive the digital negatives and copyright release of all the guest images so that you can create prints to insert next to their message in your guest book. The ultimate keepsake of those you cherish most. Many couples also include a copy of the photos with thank-you notes. Such a special touch!

Do you travel?
We love to explore new venues and are available for domestic and international travel. Travel within a 20 mile radius of Little Falls, MN is included at no charge. Travel outside of this radius is determined on an individual basis. Please take us along on your destination wedding or elopement; we have our passport ready!
Do I have to order prints through you?
The Simple Collection comes complete with high resolution, art ready digital negatives to ALL your wedding day images and a copyright release so that you can select your own printing service and share on social media. There is no obligation to purchase anything further.
We do offer affordable professionally printed products, canvas gallery wraps, art-shaped prints, save the date and holiday cards, and beautiful hand-crafted wedding albums that you can easily order directly from your gallery.
This added service sets us apart from other great photographers.
What is the difference between a wedding and micro wedding?
The difference is the size and scope of the wedding. Micro weddings are much smaller and more simplified. To determine which is right for you, ask yourself “What is meaningful to us? What elements are important in our wedding?” Each of you will have a different answer.
There are no right and wrong ways to have a wedding, only what is best for you.
For some, it’s having their friends and family come together to witness your wedding ceremony, eat, drink and dance.
